Past its year-worn façades, the Lower East Side - LES for short - has lived through some of New York's most historic moments. From multiple migration waves to Debbie Harry and the CBGB scene, the neighborhood has had its share of wild, iconic nights.
Economy Candy, Russ & Daughters, the occasional Spider-Man fan and murals commemorating the icons that roamed its streets, the Lower East Side is filled with pockets of memories, color, and some of New Yorkers' favorite treats.
