Welcome! I'm Laura Sofia: student, writer, and in the words of one of my current professors, a future "knowledge connoisseur."

This blog originally started in the form of a newsletter about more than a year ago. Having moved to New York to pursue my passion for writing and reporting, I kept family and friends updated every other Sunday night through a mix of thoughts and experiences that I had lived in New York City. Now, I've decided to grow that idea into a blog that allows me to explore my interests outside class and share them with you.

How much of an expert in knowledge will I become? Who knows, but I'm excited to find out.
